Yes it is. Sometimes an installation can be out of scope for an NBN technician. We can install a cable pathway (conduit with a draw wire) from point A to point B for them to be able to install the equipment exactly where you want it.
We can install a link from your main house to a granny flat or shed to eliminate this issue.
In a lot of instances, yes, thats correct. NBN will replace/repair cable up to the network boundary point (service box on the side of your house), after that you own the cabling inside your house, so if it's faulty you will need to have it replaced or repaired. This is something we do on a regular basis.
